El Mudawara Mountain

has 18 metres distance from the protectorate main gate.The mount could be climbed enjoying the wonderful landscape of lakes where dark blue waters meet the golden yellowish sands. This great scene is surrounded by rising and falling sand dunes& limestone depressions at the outskirts of the vast Western desert.• Bay and sand dunes: at the south end of the Lower Lake, you can find a fascinating bay surrounded by dense quantities of bamboo. It is an excellent site for bird watching. Furthermore, sand dunes are considered an ideal place for picnics and for practicing walking hobby.
